My name is David, I read online to contact columbus ga animal control in regards to my question. I want to know for example how many pets a person (usually has) or is allowed to have in muscogee county. Im currently trying to help someone out who has very bad depression problems apparently and relied on animals as self treatment. Now im trying to convince them that they have way too many animals. I like to be able to say "muscogee county law only allows 5 pets" or something to that effect. they are willing to get rid of some of the animals which is a great start, however I keep hearing "But I saved this one" and "Oh but I just cant get rid of this animal" any information or help on this would be great! I'm trying to break her of her "Pack rat" life style, and keep her from becoming a full blown animal hoarder. Thanks for your time, sorry to bother you!
My mom is moving from IL to GA. She stopped at a Super 8 Motel in Columbus GA. Her cat got away from her. She is extremely sad & can't find him. He is black and white with a black spot on his chin resembling a beard. He does not have a collar or tags on him. His name is Mister. He has some blood in his right eye. We will call to find out if he has been located. If you find him, she would really love to have him back. She has been crying all day. You can reach me at this e-mail address or my phone number.
I'm not sure if this is where I should start, with you, but here goes... I was living in Muscogee County Georgia. My dog broke out of my house when I went to the store and animal control came and took him away. This was early October, 2008. His name was Hank. He was a yellow lab/pit mix. We adopted him from a dog rescue shelter a year earlier. I got a phone call the day they took him away, telling me I had to pay $100 fine in order to get him back and I didn't have that kind of money, and the longer they had him, the more money I had to come up with. It was a mess :( According to the Animal Control website, the closest animal control would have been in Atlanta GA. Is there any way to find Hank? Our family has missed him terribly for a year now, and we want him back so very badly :( He was badly abused for the first year of his life, then he came to live with us and we gave him everything he ever needed. His only issue was separation anxiety (badly) and that's why he broke out of the house. If there's any way you could track him down, I would be soooo grateful. Even if you find out he's living in another home, I just need to know. I pray he was not put down, he was such a wonderful dog. Please help me... Muscogee County Animal assistance needed.
